And now it would appear that the devices may not get the full version of Android 4.0, instead the update could include some of the features of Ice Cream Sandwich, sort of a ‘Lite’ version or ‘ValuePack’ version of ICS.

Of course this has yet to be confirmed by Samsung, I guess we will have to wait for some sort of official announcement to find out if these devices will get the full Android 4.0 update or not.

We don’t as yet have any official date for the launch pf the Android 4.0 update for the Sony Tablet S, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.

We have previously heard a rumor that the Galaxy Note would launch with US mobile carrier AT&T in January, this has still yet to be confirmed by AT&T, although now it looks like a possible date considering the recent Samsung announcement.

Samsung hasn’t given an exact release date as yet but we suspect the Galaxy Note will be available in the US sometime in January 2012.

Apple has made it a point, in fact, a selling point, that thousands of apps were designed specifically to iPad consumption. These apps range from the leisurely and educational to the business centered. At present, additional apps are still in the process of been developed to ensure that all kinds of processes are possible to be accomplished in the iPad.

Interesting apps are present in the iPad, which may not appear to be immediately useful, but to some extent, is on a good-to-know basis. For instance, there exists a table of elements app called The Elements that has absolutely no use for corporate individuals and just about everyone else. Unless we are still attached to academic Chemistry or have great propensity to create our own potions, the Table of Elements seems like a whimsical addition to iPad’s list of apps. But it does not hurt to find this app, for one, it could come in handy in the face of an alien take-over.

One useful app would be the Epicurious, a comprehensive indexed cookbook. The user could randomly search for a recipe by simply using one of the ingredients names as the search keyword. It will return a list of recipes that includes the key ingredient and the user can further narrow down the search by adding more key recipes.

Other lifestyle apps are offered too that can supplement the Epicurious app such as the Grocery IQ and Mcormick Recipes apps among others.

Games and entertainment apps have a wide array of selection from scholarly to mundane to high speed racing. Even the game apps have been specially redesigned for iPad. Gaming is such a great experience on the iPad because of its rich display, ultra fast processor and multi-orientation screen. The user can flip the tablet from portrait to landscape to better enjoy the gaming activity.

Scrabble and Soduko are two of the most popular educational game puzzles that were integrated into the iPad apps. Puzzle games such as Labyrinth, Monkey Flight, Traffic Rush, Superstar Chef, Bloons Light and more. For the puzzle addict, iPad sounds like a stairway to arcadepuzzle games heaven.

The iPhone projector case is fitted with a 2100mAh battery and powered by a 15-lumen-LED projection lamp which is capable of projecting a 50 inch image from around 8ft away with a 640 x 360 pixel native display resolution. Its even fitted with a small 0.5 watt speaker for audio output if required.

In other words, this isn’t likely to leave a lasting mark on HTC, as the company will almost certainly bend to whatever rules they have to in order to make sure things return to normal. But more than that, this proves that Apple’s claims against competitors aren’t entirely baseless; or, at least, that the courts don’t think so. So, Samsung and HTC have already had their wrists slapped; who is next?

Although it would appear that the iPhone 4S is quite expensive in some countries, retailing for R$2599 in Brazil, which works out at around $1410 US for the 16GB model, increasing up to the equivalent of $1845 for the 64GB model.

In the other new countries that the iPhone 4S is now available in, pricing seems to be in line with Apple’s pricing in the US, although the device retails for around $1,131 in Russia.

Deputies say the thieves lifted the security gate and slid underneath it. The iPads were stolen from a locked display case. Surveillance cameras showed the suspects executing a “carefully planned heist” in which they sprinted right to the iPads and never looked up at the cameras in a coordinated theft
